Our last three events have been staged at Liquid Nightclub in Portsmouth and for those who have joined us on previous shows, we’re sure you’ll agree, that the venue is an integral part of what makes our fight nights so special.

Liquid has recently undergone an extensive £1million renovation programme, and reopened last month as ‘Pryzm’. From the moment you arrive at the entrance, you’ll see a massive transformation, with every area of the club re-thought and modernised. In addition to the main club, there is also a new room on the ground floor with its own bar and seating area.

We’ve just got back from a walk around the new space and are pleased to say that all the things we loved about the old venue are still there – our boxers will continue to enjoy a private backstage area upstairs to prepare and warm-up; the ring will still be located on the dance floor, directly under the lighting rig; each two boxers will walk to the ring via separate staircases, giving them a dramatic entrance; and the crowd will still be able to enjoy an elevated view of the arena from the balcony and stairs. Where things have changed is directly around the dance floor – a number of booths have been added here and these will form our new ‘ringside area’. On previous shows, we had temporary seating in a cordoned-off area surrounding the ring; the new booths will offer a huge upgrade for our VIP offering, with lounge seating around a table for up to twelve guests per booth, hostess service and an unrivalled view of the boxing action. Floor standing areas will still offer a good view of the ring, but the VIP booths will guarantee the best view in the house, with an added touch of luxury and comfort.

Upgrading to ringside will cost £20 per wristband. This is in addition to the cost of your entrance ticket. These will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, but we anticipate demand to be high, so advise registering your interest early. Please speak to Vicky with all enquiries.

Please note, owing to the nature of the event, with bouts throughout the day, we are not able to allocate specific booths to groups, so if you want to grab one for you and your mates, we advise you all buy wristbands and get in early to watch all the action on the day!

NB. Tickets for the event were printed before the venue’s change of name. Although tickets say ‘Liquid’, rest assured they will grant entry to Pryzm on the day.
